1. Sichuan University carried out the inauguration ceremony of APEC Center of Excellence and other regulatory science activities

The Institute of Regulatory Science for Medical Devices of Sichuan University held the inaugural ceremony of APEC Center of Excellence in Medical Device Primary Work Area. The establishment of the Center not only demonstrates China's active participation in international community governance, but also helps China's innovative achievements in the field of medical device regulatory science to gain recognition and recognition from international medical device regulatory agencies, which is of great significance. In addition, the institute hosted the symposium of "China Biotechnology Development Center for Biomedical Materials Innovation and Development in the ‘14th Five-Year Plan’ " to discuss issues related to the innovation and development of biomedical materials, and collected opinions and suggestions on the formulation of the scientific and technological innovation planning of biomedical materials in the ‘14th Five-Year Plan’.
